Award-winning content marketing and PR agency Padua Communications today announces that its managing director, Nicky Rudd, is a finalist in the Successful Women Awards 2019.
Nicky has been nominated and shortlisted in the Inspirational Business Woman category. The Successful Women Awards are part of The Successful Women in Business Network (SWIB), founded by Gill Donnell MBE to celebrate and showcase the work and businesses of successful women across the South West.
In April 2019, over 300 nominations were received across the South West, which have been scrutinised and shortlisted to 50 finalists across 11 categories.
For the Inspirational Women category, the judges were looking for “women whose achievements stand out above others, whose self-sacrifice and generosity of spirit inspire other people and who are a positive role model to other women.”
Nicky says: “I was nominated by a colleague for this award, which is an incredible feeling in itself, but being shortlisted is even more amazing. Fingers crossed for the final but, I am chuffed to have got this far when there are so many amazing women juggling careers and family. It’s lovely to get the recognition even if you’re not asking for it!”
Nicky has worked nationally and internationally in marketing and PR for over 20 years and founded Padua Communications, a marketing and PR agency in 2009.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Nicky also sits on the Chartered Institute of Marketing South East Board as vice-chair of events and the Institute of Directors’ (IOD) Hampshire and Isle of Wight committee. She is a regular speaker on topics related to business communications, marketing and PR. She is also Chair of Fordingbridge Events Group, responsible for the Fordingbridge Festival, Fordingbridge Culture Week and the Christmas in Fordingbridge events.
Nicky is one of five finalists for the award, which will be announced at an awards ceremony on the 7th June in Dorchester.
