We are a few weeks into shut down because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Our team has decamped to home offices, but for us at the moment, work life is business as usual – just a little busier as we juggle with home schooling!
When I set up Padua Communications over a decade ago – and in the last recession – I wanted to set up a flexible, agile business that could work nimbly and help businesses as we emerged from a difficult situation and dark times. All too soon, it feels like we are about to be in one of those situations again.
We are open
As a digital agency that specialised in tech, we have always used cloud-based technology to create and manage our production schedules and communication with clients. So, apart from now working from a desk in my lounge at home, we are carrying on as normal – very British of us!
For several of our clients, the Coronavirus pandemic has hit their businesses immediately and so we are working flexibly with them to help support their marketing efforts in these difficult times. We are also being open about how we can help with budgeting and ensuring they get the most from their marketing and communications spend.
For other clients, the current situation has enabled us to get hold of their customers – people who are normally very difficult to get hold of. This means that from a case study point of view, we have set up way more interviews over the past month than normal.
We are working with new customers, drafting proposals and creating content for those who are already thinking about the future and using this time to get ahead with content for marketing campaigns for when our new normal life resumes.
In the background, we have also been working on a range of new services, based on the training we have delivered and the experience we have gained over the past decade to offer SMEs new ways of selling and marketing online. Watch this space – they will go live very soon.
Talk to us
We just wanted to say we are still here – squirrelling away – and we are here for you, whether you need some content creating, or a question answering, or you just need a chat and some company.
Stay safe and let us know if we can help at all, Nicky xx
