The not-so-secret art of blogging

Many companies are now thinking about having a blog on their website as a means to update content and keep the site fresh. But what should be in a blog, how long should a post be and how often should you blog?

At Padua Communications we write a lot of blog posts but for some companies, keeping the blog writing in-house is their preferred option for several different reasons, so one of the other things we offer is blogging training.

We come to your offices and train your staff on all aspects of blogging. The session is informal, fun and informative and we’re there to answer any questions your team might have.

We’ve recently run one of our workshops with Godalming-based accountancy firm Roffe Swayne and here’s some of the feedback we received:

“I found the workshop useful and it gave me some good ideas …about the format and style of blogs – and that they don’t need to be too long. It was useful to understand how google works and what it looks for”

It was useful in general. In particular the tips on structure were helpful. I am more confident at the prospect of thinking up blogs for the future”

“It was a useful and informative training session. I think it will prove valuable to me”

“I thought the Blogging session was useful to give the framework for what we need to do and how best to prepare them. Certainly helpful in thinking of how to plan future blogs.”

So if you are making the move into blog writing and trying to get your team impassioned and empowered, and want to quell their writing anxieties, why not get in touch and see how we can help.
