Padua Communications MD shortlisted for industry award

Local businesswoman, Nicky Rudd, managing director of PR and marketing agency, Padua Communications has been shortlisted for an industry award as PR Freelancer of the Year. The award, which has been jointly run by the PRCA (Public Relations Consultants’ Association) and PCG, recognises best practice within the industry.

Nicky has been shortlisted for the PRCA Freelancer of the Year award in recognition of a number of campaigns that she project-managed including a 2 month campaign for Motorola as part of its activity for Mobile World Congress, a major European show.With the use of freelancers on the increase, this new award was open to freelancers working in-house or for a PR agency on short or long-term projects. Winning entries were based on delivery, professionalism, results achieved, innovation and value to the employer.

Nicky Rudd, says: “I’m thrilled to bits to be shortlisted. It’s fantastic to get some recognition for the Motorola campaign and particularly from my peers. This is a great accolade for me personally and for my company!”

Padua Communications has been set up to help businesses with their PR, copywriting, events and marketing. Based in West Byfleet, the company works with large and small companies across a wide range of industry sectors.

Padua Communications is also working with another local business Wendy Chamier eConsulting to offer local businesses training on writing for the web to increase SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) The course is being held from 9.30-12.30 on the 16th November at The Ship in Walton on Thames.
