Nicky Rudd has 16 years’ experience in marketing and PR and is MD of Padua Communications.  Set up in 2009, Padua Communications supports businesses with PR, copywriting, marketing and events, helping clients to create conversations with customers, partners, stakeholders and the media.

Recently shortlisted by her peers for a PRCA (Public Relations Consultants’ Association) award, Nicky is an experienced communications professional with a host of PR and marketing skills.  These include strategy creation and implementation, media training, copywriting, media liaison and social networking, together with branding, speechwriting and event management.

Nicky has worked on consumer and business-to-business campaigns for blue chip companies, start-ups and SMEs in a wide range of markets.  She has a real understanding of what makes a news story, as she has also been on the other side of the media as a journalist in TV production.  She worked for the Media Trust, making TV programmes for the BBC’s Learning Zone and at BBC Radio Northampton, where she was responsible for producing and presenting programmes.
