Free advice from our founder

As the pandemic rumbles on and Padua Communications heads towards its 11th year, we have been focusing on sharing business tips in some of our networks.

Part of this focus has been speaking and taking part in business communities where we can share our story, along with some of the lessons we have learnt.

Writing some thought leadership articles and focusing on webinars can be a great way to help enhance your brand profile with prospects, customers and stakeholders.

Thought leadership

Recently, our founder and Managing Director Nicky Rudd has been featured in the Evolve network’s business articles. Nicky shared some business advice on emerging from lockdown as a business owner, but her article also highlights some of the things we consider important as a business. These include things such as flexible working, sustainability and remaining creative.

Nicky writes: “As a marketer and content creator, be upfront about what you stand for, and talk about your journey, personally and professionally. In the future, the strongest stories that will be shared will be those that have integrity, credibility and are emotionally honest.”

Webinars and advice

Nicky has also been involved with The Chartered Institute of Marketing for several years, most recently as a trustee and Events Ambassador for the South East region. As the pandemic has stopped the face to face networking events, CIM has moved to running online, bitesize webinars and Nicky is speaking at one later this month called ‘Getting from Giving’.

The talk will focus Nicky’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) journey over the past decade and she will be sharing what she has learnt from volunteering with Surrey Young Carers, City YMCA and other regional community initiatives, offering some tips on the things you need to be aware of if you are thinking CSR will feature in your plans. She will also give advice on getting the balance right personally and professionally.

The webinar is free to attend and you can register by clicking on this link.
